I am Melissa Green, owner of Inner Lotus Healing.  I am a wife, a mom of 2, and have 2 energetic dogs.  I have been a stay at home mom ever since my first child was born.  As the years went on, I felt like I had some areas of my life that were unbalanced.  As we have all learned, and probably just not openly discussed, no one's life is perfect...yet we all strive for that perfection, judging ourselves every step of the way.   I am no exception, and used to be my own worst critic.  I have lessons in this life to learn, just like each and every soul here on Earth.  Each one's lessons are unique to themselves, yet mine led me to be able to have a very unique support group behind me.  These people (they know who they are), allowed me to open my eyes and see what was really important in life.  This was the first step.

A while back, I had a spiritual awakening.  As wonderful as that sounds, it was also a bit turbulent.  I had realized that I had a greater purpose to serve here.  I walked around for a while trying to figure out what that was.  The calling, however, was persistent.  I felt it so deep down in my bones...that I was to help people in some way.  I knew I was meant to touch people's lives in some way, but was grasping for the answer to it all.  I'm sure this resonates with many of you.  I had then decided I would get a Rising Star healing session, as recommended to me by one of my friends.   Since there was no one nearby, I had this done by distance.  Needless to say, I was a bit skeptical.  How could this healing energy do much for me from afar?  Although I was open to the healing energy, I didn't quite understand how it could help me from a distance.  Well, needless to say, what happened to me next stunned me.  It was a life changing experience.  In just that one session I had gained emotional healing.  I was able to release and process what was needed at that time, to achieve more balance.  Then, for days, I kept seeing the term "Reiki".  I was curious.  I didn't even know what it was.  As I read about it, I knew this was meant for me.  The universe was sending me a trail of breadcrumbs, and I needed to be mindful enough to notice, and follow them.  It was as if all the pieces fell into place.  I stayed firm in my belief that I was to get certified in Reiki, as I was lead to do.  However, shortly after, I got certified in the Rising Star healing system, as I believe in it so.  I was living proof that it works, and that it quite literally helped me find my purpose in life.  Since then, I have been led by my intuition to get certified in a handful of other energy therapies, which I believe help in so many ways and on many different levels.   Providing a well rounded scope of energy therapies in all areas is important to me.  All offer their own unique approach to healing.   By design, this diverse list of offerings will address each person's individual needs emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  If guided to, I may even combine the different therapies to make a unique and custom session, specific to that individual's needs.

I am certified to facilitate healing in traditional Usui Reiki (levels 1&2), Crystal Reiki, Rising Star Healing System, Prema Birthing Healing System, Crystal Healing, and Sound Vibrational Healing with Tibetan Singing Bowls. I am also certified to teach both Prema Birthing, and Crystal Reiki as a Crystal Reiki Master, and am a licensed ordained minister from the Universal Life Church.I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and feel that spiritual energy healing and science can actually work together harmoniously.  It is said that there is no such thing as a miracle, just undiscovered laws of physics.  Well, I believe that energy therapies are the bridge between those two.  Why must we give up science to be spiritually based human beings?  Why must we give up faith to understand how things work scientifically?  Can both not work together as a cohesive unit?  I believe the answer is yes.  As you can read on my page about how energy therapy works, there is a basis in science that proves the laws of how these healing systems work.  If we can harness these energies, and couple them with our intentions, this is how healing can occur.  Our bodies have long forgotten how to heal themselves, and yet, these ancient forms of healing are still around or being resurrected today.  I believe the key to healing is within each and every one of us.  That if we open our hearts and minds, and have faith in something we cannot see, we can allow the energy to go where it needs to, and unlock our own greatest healing potential.  That is my hope.  We are all a part of creation, and by healing one soul, we heal all.  Just like ripples in a pond, when one person makes a change for the better, those good vibes spread.  I sincerely hope that I can help, one person at a time, to raise our consciousness as a whole.  That by each person willing to take one step further, to allow their inner fire to raise themselves out of the trials of this life, towards soul ascension, that they too, can bloom.  Why not use this lifetime to gain a clearer understanding of your life's purpose, heal old wounds and trauma, be joyful and present in all moments, connect with your inner power and wisdom, restore your vitality and live life to it's fullest?  It's within your reach.
